Delicious Family Hong Kong travel

A little UPD8

So I know I know I know…I say this every single post…but I’m back…for a quicky little update for ya. So much has been happening since my last post in March..yah MARCH…5 months ago!! I could go on and on about what’s been happening but instead..here’s a quick recap:

March: My little Sumo pup had a little bit of a health scare. We found a medium sized lump under his chin (sad boi) and decided to do surgery to remove it. He was such a champ and the goodest boy ever and now he’s all 100000% better! Yay Go Sumo!!

April: Jason and I headed to New York for just over a week. We were there for the MATCHESFASHION.COM FW18 Press Preview but also to see our families too. As usual we spent a couple of days in the city and then spent the weekend out on Long Island with Jason’s family and I even got to go to Costco AND had Checkers drive-through for the first time! Check out my video recap of our trip and the MF Press Preview above and also don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel!

May: Not too much happened in May honestly..maybe the most exciting was the opening event of the Chanel Coco Game Center! Jason and I got to play some games on their arcade machines and won a few little cute Chanel prizes – oh and I wore my new Casteรฑer all black espadrilles! So comfy and I need more occasions to wear them..I’m not exactly a heels/wedges everyday kinda girl as I’m sure you all very much know already.

June: The most exciting month of all!! My sister Sha gave birth to her baby boy Max Elliot Cheung!!! I’ve been so in love with him since the second he came into our world and it’s safe to say I’m obsessed with him. I canNOT believe this little fatso batso fishball baby has been in our family for just about 3 months already and we’re all wishing he wouldn’t grow so damn fast!

July: My birthday month! My older sister and Nadja came to Hong Kong from New York to see baby Max! It was so amazing to have my entire family in town and it was the first time anyone in the family got to celebrate their birthday with the entire full family together in like over 10 years..maybe even 15 years? So it was just great. Jason also planned an amazing dinner just for us two on this super old school fishing boat seafood restaurant. Definitely one to remember!!

August: Jason and I took a quick week trip down to Melbourne! I hadn’t been there in like 20 years so it was perfect timing for a trip down there to see my great friend Cat and her new little bub Yvie! Above is a bunch of the delicious food we ate!! I might do a full blog post on this later…maybe… Also, I’ve been working in an office!! I know this is probably not a big deal to anyone but lol to me (and my friends and family) it’s like a funny joke now that I’ve become an Office Lady™ once again. But honestly, it’s not even that bad: I work 3 days a week at a friend’s design agency helping out on a couple of projects. I’ll still be working here in September but will probably cut down to just 1 or 2 days a week so yay! I don’t know about anyone else but once you’ve been working freelance (like I have for the past 6!!!! years)..it’s extremely difficult to dive back into an office setting! This 9am-6pm working schedule is nooooooot fun.

And now we’re all caught up..kinda! Hopefully it won’t be another 5 months until my next update and make sure you’re keeping up with my YouTube that’ll have a new video up real soon! September is going to be another month of celebration with Sha’s birthday and Max’s 100 day celebration AND we’re going to Bangkok for our friend’s wedding so will have lots to update later! See ya!
