Seems like every other post I’m writing is about some fashion event that I went to with all my fashionable friends. Fashion events in Hong Kong are as common as badly dressed see-lais but last Friday was an exception. Our blog collective, Brew&Post celebrated their official launch at WOOBAR at the W Hotel and I am so so lucky to be a part of Hong Kong’s first ever fashion and style network. Not like your typical fashion event, where you see the same socialites, the same “fashion people” or the same media folks, our Brew&Post launch was the perfect mix of everyone from the front end like bloggers, designers, stylists to all our friends from behind the scenes like editors, writers and photographers.
The event was such a great success, despite my worsening cough/cold/sorethroat, even Grace Lam, Vogue China Fashion Style Editor a.k.a. TOUGHLOVE’s sister, mentioned it was one of the coolest/trendiest parties she’d been to in a long time! We had all the right crowd; friends from Vogue China, CNN, Loewe, H&M, Miu Miu and even the Financial Times! Unlike many events in HK, these people came out to support us as friends and family and not there just for the press part of it. Everyone from Brew&Post is always super grateful and we couldn’t be anywhere without each other and all our friends and supporters!
Thanks FRIENDS for coming out!
Hardcore sticker fans!
Jess from Substance and Brew&Post big time supporter, SHA LAI!
