Oh my gosh okay so I just got back from an amazing 5 day trip in Paris! There’s so much to talk about Paris BUT BUT BUT before that, I need to post my photos from that week-long trip to New York from back in November! Just a couple of days in the city spending time with my new baby niece Nadja then trekking it out to Long Island to see Jason’s baby nephew Declan! A truly baby-filled week in New York and there really wasn’t any better way to spend my time than with family. Dressing for winter can also be kind of boring, especially when you’re traveling. There’s just no way that there’d be space in my suitcase to fit two different coats so I normally go for basics for my tops and bottoms so that I could mix and match, then a nice warm statement coat to keep me warm. My new coat find from Alexander Wang FW11 has the quintessential Wang details: a perfect classic wool overcoat on the outside then lined with quilting and elastic wrist hems peeking out of an asymmetric hem. The zippers on the front panels also go all the way up to reveal an inner puffy lining with hidden pockets. SO GOOD.

I’m not going to go over what I did each day but basically just think lots of baby time, some shopping and LOTS of eating! See below for my visual vomit of everything I did in New York (except I’m missing photos from 10000 more delicious foods I ate).
