It’s disgustingly wet and cold today in Shanghai and all I can think about is the waffle and sausage breakfast from a couple of weeks ago at Mr. Pancake. Not the best of breakfast joints in Shanghai but sometimes you just have to go for what’s easy and available. It’s not always 5 star dining in our household. We try to do home-cooked meals at night from Monday to Thursday then save the dining out meals for the weekend. On this particular waffle-filled day, the weather was so nice and sunny and driving around on the scooter was the perfect way to spend our weekend. Shanghai has some pretty little areas that don’t seem like China at all, you just have to find them along the crowded and Chinafied roads. Like this sweet building along Fumin Lu that if I had told you this was taken in Paris, you might’ve believed me! We ended our weekend with a major overhaul of our living room: FORT BUILDING. Anything to keep the warmth in and the cold out ˭̡̞(◞⁎˃ᆺ˂)◞₎₎=͟͟͞͞˳˚॰°ₒ৹๐
P.S. I am obsessed with these Japanese emoticons! ლ(´◉❥◉｀ლ) hehehe Σ (੭ु ຶਊ ຶ)੭ु⁾⁾
P.P.S. How awesome are these Stussy for Converse high tops? Surprisingly, they are my first black Chuck Taylor high tops and they couldn’t be any cooler with the croc embossed leather and the detail on the tongue and sole! I love Converse and Converse loves me!
Keep them buns low and loose!
Baby in the fort!
Important fort requirements: Stanley cup filled with warm Mariage Frères tea, MacBook Air and a Beats Pill, TWO (yes two is definitely needed) Fujifilm Insta Minis and of course baby little Totoro toys for Sumo!
