Zara kimono, COS tanktop, Zara pants and Ann Demeulemeester totebag.
Here I am, looking bright as ever in a silky (read: polyester), colorful (•SHOCKHORROR•) kimono-type throw-over I recently picked up from Zara. I’ve been on the hunt for a easy summer outerwear piece that I could wear over thin wispy tops and tank tops due to the fact that my bare upper arms are sights that no one should see. This loose flowy kimono thang will do just that. One thing about Shanghai that I really don’t abuse at all is the fabric market where you could essentially have anything you want made or bring any item you have and have it copied in a myriad of fabrics and colors. I’m thinking this eazy breezy kimono in a pretty black floral silk print and maybe even in a chiffon type thing?
My dad was visting us in Shanghai last weekend. Before we headed to the Central Studios Spring fair, we had a major lecture-filled delicious lunch at Jing’An Restaurant at The PuLi hotel where my dad was staying. It was a seriously amazing appetizer buffet with an additional 2 main courses and a dessert. A super yummy meal before a super stressful week (;´Ï`)
