Finally a London post! Almost exactly a month ago, along with some of my bestest friends, we all flew over to London to celebrate my friend Carmen’s bachelorette party followed by a trip to Lisbon for her wedding! I’m sure you’ve seen pics all over my instagram already but finally here’s a blog post! Whilst I loved London the city and all the amazing food and shops, I just couldn’t get over the fact that everything is SO EXPENSIVE! Maybe it’s cos I’m coming from China or Hong Kong but everything from taxis to food and drinks felt like they were SO expensive. The worst was the taxis BUT the fact that they have Addison Lee is just amazing and the service and drivers really won me over. Story goes that of course, the FIRST TIME I ever drop or lose my wallet happens to be when I’m in a foreign country but luckily I knew that I’d dropped it in an Addison Lee car the night before so a call the next day to the company, the driver finds it in his car, returns it to the office and by that afternoon, I’m already reunited with my wallet AND all the CA$$$H is still in there. WOOHOO. That driver was so nice I couldn’t believe it. In HK, we would give the taxi driver a lai see (envelope with money) for such a good deed but this time I couldn’t and felt bad >.< Anyway long story short, London is expensive, food was great, Addison Lee is awesome and shopping was good.

I’m out of order here but on our second free day (after all the bachelorette fun and hot tub cinema fun!), we decided to take a morning stroll through Notting Hill. Apparently not all the stalls are open on a Wednesday morning but it was just nice being out and about with all the fresh produce and flowers and the pretty colourful houses. We had decided that we would do all the sightseeing stuff in the morning then all the shopping in the afternoon! That day we hit up Oxford circus and everything around there including Liberty! I held back though and surprisingly went home that night without buying a single thing #selfcontrol. Finally after a super long tiring day, we feasted at Meat Liquor which you can read more about below. That meal was so great but did NOT make my crop-top very happy. OMG super long okay BAIIIIII

Cute little tchotchkes!

Crepe reflections

Those pretty Notting hill houses

Julie’s great streetstyle pose, wearing T by Alexander Wang tee, H&M faux leather skirt, & Other Stories necklace and bag, Converse Chuck Taylors and mirror lens sunglasses (similar here).

AHH the Liberty building

Wanted to pick up a bunch of all of the beautiful flowers. I posted these on instagram (which Liberty reposted, woohoo!) and mentioned that I’m going to start having more flowers around the house. When I returned back to Shanghai, Jason was definitely paying attention and surprised me with these beautiful flowers #husbandpoints.

Ending the long ass day with a heavy ass crazy meal at Meat Liquor! Came highly recommended by a lot of people but personally, I thought it was only okay. The buffalo wings were so so so good but the chilli cheese fries and the burgers were way too soggy for me. They pile everything onto one tray which looks fun and cheeky but after a while, all the juices from everything is mixing around and just gets everything wet and soggy. The burger was really tasty but I couldn’t get over the fact that it was impossible to hold the burger together.

One last thing! Moiselle recently reached out to do a few picks from their latest FW14 collection so I threw this little giffy gif gif together to show some of the pieces I liked. You can see more and view the whole collection here! Doesn’t the Asymmetrical Scarlett Dress (far left) look kinda look Alexander Wang-y?! Love!
