Last week I got to attend my first ~fashyon~ event in Shanghai: the Neiman Marcus China launch event held at Three on the Bund! Accompanied by some new Shanghai friends, we headed to the launch party where Ken Downing, fashion director of Neiman Marcus, was hosting and presented a few looks from Alexander McQueen, Valentino, Michael Kors, Jason Wu, Stella McCartney and Tory Burch in a runway show where models walked to some sweet beats. View some clips here and here on vine and follow me too (@superwowomg)! It was a great night for Neiman Marcus in China and it was really fun meeting new Shanghai people! And as far as Shanghai/China events go, apparently this one was one of the best! Can’t wait to see what other events are like in Shanghai! Next stop: Shanghai Fashion Week!
The Judith Leiber snake minaudiere that was up for grabs! A little too obnoxious for me now but this would totally be one of those investment pieces that I’d probably start rocking when I’m 50 years old and still going to fashyon events~
This drink was so good, it was really yummy and if you look really hard, you can see the real copper flakes!
My friend Hart in her amazing jacket that she designed herself with fabrics sourced from different parts of China.
Timothy, always so perfectly layered!
I spotted Jed, fashion editor of Noblesse (a leading luxury lifestyle magazine from Korea and China), from a block away when he was walking towards the entrance and marveled at how amazing his Thom Browne coat was. The half-half backless coat shows the perfect Thom Browne cheekiness and paired with his Thom Browne briefcase, cuffed pants, wingtip boots and handsomely coifed hair, Jed pulled off the look perfectly.
If we both could afford it, me and Jason would totally be one of those matching couples in Thome Browne. Le sigh, one day hopefully!
