Kenzo FW13 Lotus Eye embroidered sweater, Topshop furry pink skirt, Chanel bag, Nike Inneva Woven Free sneakers and Mona Mara OK Hand necklace.
Last week in Hong Kong, apart from spending time with my family and close friends, I was in town to attend the shop opening at Landmark for the amazing new Kenzo store and for the private dinner after. I picked a sweater with my favourite motif of the season, the evil/all-seeing eye of course and paired it with a new fluffy baby pink addition to my wardrobe from Topshop. With my favourite Chanel bag and my trusty Nike Inneva Woven frees, I was good to go. I’m so bad at wearing heels now, straight up Bambi legs when I’m in anything other than sneakers now. Super #fashionfail.
The new Kenzo store is focused on menswear with just a small rack catering to women but don’t worry, there’s an excellent womenswear selection at Lane Crawford and the Kenzo store in Harbour City. After the shop opening, a select bunch of “influencers and tastemakers” such as myself clearly (lolwhudokay) were invited to a private dinner at Galerie Perrotin with food catered by the newly opened Little Bao. The set up at the gallery was amazing, totally decked out in Kenzo x Toilet Paper with huge giant t-shirts (which I obvs wanted to steal) and each table was themed around the different Kenzo motifs, like the evil eye, flying tiger, clouds print etc. Lucky for me, I sat on the evil eye table. The food was so so good, my favourite was definitely the short-rib dumpling and the mushroom bao. Towards the end of the dinner, we were all treated to a special all out drum crazy performance by Korean all-girl drum group Drum Cat. It was so great meeting Humberto and Carol in person finally and hanging out with the awesome team at Kenzo!
Thanks so much to the best team at Social/Capital for the invite!

LOVING all the eye print!
Everything was designed down to the paper and the baos! Sosososo good!
And for good fun, here’s me and my sister rocking Kenzo before you or your mom even knew what Kenzo was.
Happy New Year!
