Monki leopard socks and don’t know why my shoes look so big for me here….

Hi friends!

Sorry for the delay in always, my job has been super intense lately and next week doesn’t get any better :( Thankfully, this past Friday was the Richard Nicoll event at Electric Sekki allowing me a chance to actually interact with REAL PEOPLE! The morning before (on Thursday) was an opportunity to chit chat and interview Richard (yes, first name basis here~) but of course my insane schedule at work had me glued to my desk unfortunately. So the event on Friday was held at Electric Sekki at their amazing showroom in Aberdeen giving people the chance to meet the London-based designer and to view his latest Resort 2012 collection. The night was filled with amazing fashion, great friends and new friends too! Briefly met Richard~ and we chit-chatted for a bit before he had to run to the bathroom (and trust me, all the ladies wanted to follow him in there LOLOLOL).

So yes, I’m wearing that black H&M double-slit pleated maxi skirt again. I just ruff it too much and it’s so super comfy. Too bad it started pouring buckets after and a long skirt in that rain was super lame.

Carmen, my guh-maaazzzing ~photographer~ came too so all the SUPER PRETTY pictures in this post are from her and all the sucky ones are from me. So thankful for Carmen moving back to Hong Kong and I’m so lucky to be able to have my pictures taken by her and to work with her for some upcoming projects :) Can’t wait to show you guys!! Make sure you guys check out her side project with kenneth, called How I Met Your Style (you’ve probably already heard of it) and also check out her super stealthy style of shooting here :D

Oh oh, make sure to check out my fellow Hong Kong bloggers’ interview with Richard~ here: Valerie, Cindiddy and Christing.

Me interacting with objects = CONFUSION for everyone….

The drinks were served in these super cute mason jars!

guhhhhhhhh, furry bag…………omg SO soft and SO stuffed with padding inside that I really wanted to run away with it and use it as my pillow.

In the rain right after we stuffed our faces at Tsui Wah :)

I just wanted to quickly talk about the amazing photoshoot I did a few weeks ago with Electric Sekki shot by super famous photographer from NY, Daniel Garriga. Um hello, this guy has shot with Tyra Banks and so you can only imagine how SUPER nervous I was. The shoot was for Electric Sekki’s F/W’11 campaign entitled “Les Artistes” and should be coming out some time in late-August. Anyway, I’ll talk more about the campaign another time. The super video team from were there filming and have just released a little teaser video! Watch below to see how silly I am and check back on August 26, when the full video is released and you can see how awkward I am on camera!

Can you spot anyone else you know in the video?

P.S. the BSA (Best Sister Award) goes to nanz for coming out to the shoot to support/wait around with me all day!
