After checking out my friend Yayi’s popup artwork at Triple Major, we were scouting for somewhere new to shoot some pics and stumbled upon Shao Xing Park which was filled with old people gambling/playing chess or something. These Shanghai parks are always so happening especially on the weekend, it’s like a Chinese grandpa gaming convention every weekend at every park.

On that last Seoul trip, I had just one mission, which was to pick up an oversized wool coat that I saw aallllll the coolest girls in Seoul wearing. I found this grey number at Stylenanda and whilst it wasn’t as oversized as I envisioned (umm everything is “one size only” there so..), I loved the structured collar and the one button open lapel. Bonus is that Jason fits in it too hahaah so now we have to take turns wearing it! If you follow me on instagram, you should know by now that I’m currently obsessed with all things knitting (also check out my Pinterest!). This white scarf was the first scarf I’ve ever knitted and since then, I’ve made another scarf and two hats! My next project will be the Wool and the Gang Hold Tight Clutch (and the lil one too!). DAMN I love WATG SFM! I’m really really intimidated by knitting sweaters but I might start myself off easy and make this sleeveless sweater. I’ll have to see how brave I’m feeling.. Who else is with me on the grandma knitting obsession?

Oh man, the very first time I tried Cajun food was a couple of DAFFs ago at a Ruijin Cajun food stall. Since then, I’ve tackled jamabalaya myself (DELICIOUS btw) and just had some seriously delicious Cajun food whilst at SXSW. The genius dudes over at Ruijin Cajun had another pop-up on Yongkang Lu a while ago and holy love for Cajun food just keeps growing. They seriously need to just open up a Shanghai restaurant ASAP!!!

In love with my new “gup-jai” (checking out boys) sunglasses hehehe

Hi Panda guy!

Call me Boss Lai.

The scarf wrap!

Shao Xing Park!

I recently got the new iPhone 6 Plus (huge huge huge) for Christmas so of course I needed a new custom case and the best place to get one is Casetify! They have this new case called Metaluxe that is a plastic case with a metal frame around the camera lens. The case is made up of 3 parts where the backplate is interchangeable so the designs are infinite! They even have a clear option so you can create your own semi-transparent designs. I’m so so so so in love with my new bandana case like I seriously can’t stop staring at my phone…as if I’m not on it enough already…oops!

Um genius packaging!

Starts as 3 separate pieces (frame, back plate and bottom piece)

Interchangeable back plates!
