SEE ME RUSH THROUGH
04th May, 2015

Hiya!

And here we have the first time I’ve ever filmed a video whilst talking to the camera. To be completely honest, it felt really weird at first but at least Jason wasn’t home or else I’d feel even more self conscious. This was filmed before I got snapchat (follow me @zuperwowzomg) cos now I’ll be talking to or at the camera all the time on snapchat!

Okay back to the video! I’ve had so many questions about my make up over the years so I finally caved in and did a “Get ready with me” video. It’s my first talking one and I’m still getting used to this whole filming in front of a camera thing so bear with me. I shot this a few months ago now..and just fyi, my hair is jet black now not weirdo brownish like it is in this post. So over the years, my make up style hasn’t really changed much, it’s always been wingtip black liquid eyeliner, rarely ever any mascara (no point under these glasses), dark brows, peachy blush, no lipstick just lip balm OR darkish reddish purpley pink if I do go for lipstick and then that’s about it. I know a lot of girls say they can get ready in like 5 minutes (it’s either that or the other extreme like an hour) but seriously, I swear it takes me super fast especially when it’s just my brows then my eyeliner. I’ve been wearing a black dark wingtip since I was probably 18..so yeah it’s been more than 10 years (guhh) but no point fixing something if it ain’t broke! I’ve gone through my fair share of liquid eye liner brands and have now settled on MAC’s liquidlast liner that I’ve sworn by for the last 5 or so years. Anything that has me secured through rain and even swimming is good enough for me.

Right after I wash my face and it’s dry, I’ll lather on a little dollop of the Glossier Priming Moisturizer which I super love but the only killer for me is that it doesn’t have any SPF in it. I’m really lazy when it comes to skin care so whatever I can easily and quickly apply with my fingers or a quick swipe with a brush is good for me which is why I love my NARS tinted moisturizer (which DOES have SPF, ding ding ding!). I mention the Glossier skin tint in the video which is really great too but it does take a little time to build the layers because it’s just so light. If I’m feeling oily, which thank gawd I’m not really that shiny/oily, then I’ll do a quick brush over with the Chanel compact (a little more added SPF for good luck) and then that’s about it in the face department.

Okay hope you liked the video! Let me know if there’s anything I’m missing or if there’s any other questions about my make up routine. I guess I could also do a post about my skin care (like face wash etc) stuff too but that’ll be for next time then! Yay for #ddtv and don’t forget to subscribe on YouTube!

Hello weirdo eyebag!

The funnest part of doing a mud mask is that when it dries, you can squish your face and pretend you’re an old granny with lots of wrinkles and then afterwards you get to peel it off your face like you’re a mummy…wahahaha ok maybe that’s just me. This Deep Sea Magik Algimud seaweed mask is pretty good but I’ve only done it once or twice the last few years cos my sister brought it back for us from Europe!
