Perfect weather is rare in Hong Kong – it’s always either too hot, too humid or just simply not good enough hanging-out weather. Last weekend was just the opposite though, sunny and breezy and a good weekend for chilling with my friends. I couldn’t start the weekend right without satisfying my Hainanese Chicken Rice craving so I stopped by my favourite Singaporean restaurant, Kitchen 65, to fill my belly with chicken rice amazing-ness. After satisfying my yummy cravings, I ran over to Hong Kong’s iconic Star Ferry in TST to ferry over to Wan Chai. Good thing I had on my favourite Cole Haan Alisa oxfords and also my Sadie driving shoes to switch things up a little. Seriously the Nike Air technology in the soles are a LIFE SAVER. I swear it’s like walking on huge marshmallow paddies that are made to move all day. After some errand-running and prancing around the summer streets in my new shoes, it was another ferry ride back to TST then home for the night.Â
The next day I slipped into my Cole Haan snake skin slippers for a leisurely gander around super cool Star Street in Wan Chai. Le smoking slippers have made such a comeback in the last year or two and you guys know I love me some Hugh Hefner steez. I have the same pair in leopard print but the snake skin pair was the perfect neutral shade against my bright blue Cole Haan leather tote. As a huge THANK YOU FOR PERFECT WEATHER, I decided to meet up with some of my fave Hong Kong buddies for some outdoor drinks during happy hour. My nude Cole Haan wedges were perfect for play: zexy enough for pahty pahty time yet comfortable enough for moving through HK’s busy streets. It’s not every day you come across heels that actually consider the wellbeing of your tootsies. 100 points for Cole Haan!!Â
Thanks Hong Kong for another GREAT weekend!
