TRANSFORMATION

I get so many questions and compliments about my skin but to be completely honest, I’m not one of those very strict beauty buffs and my skin is far far far from perfect. My skin would be a complete mess without these products that I’ve been using everyday for the past few months. The newest to my skin care routine are the bareMInerals products above. The Pure Transformation Night Treatment is my favourite hands down. Basically it’s a mineral powder treatment that you put on as the very very last step before you sleep and it works its magic overnight to replenish your skin so that you wake up with more refined pores, even skintone and an overall glow. This is great for me cos I’m still young~ so my skin is still a bit oily so the powder helps to minimize oils that build up overnight while I sleep. As I start to get older (soon, soon..but not yet) and work craycray hours, my eye bags, black eye circles and (DARE WE SAY IT) WRINKLES are starting to appear more visibly (NOOOOO). I don’t use this often or too much at a time but the bareMinerals Renew & Hydrate Eye Cream helps on the days when my eyes look really dull and lifeless. The Firming Eye Treatment I use much less of, perhaps just trying to convince myself that I’m still young and that I don’t need any firming products yet >.<

As for the rest of my routine, before my shower I remove all my makeup with the Shiseido Skincare makeup remover which is perfect for the intense waterproof eyeliner that I use and then post-shower, I use Kiehl’s Rare Earth Tonic which is some cool muddy shakeshake formula that really helps to dry out my skin during the oilier moments in life. Before fluffing my face with the bareMinerals Pure Transformation powder, I moisturize with Laneige Light Balancing Emulsion which is the perfect not-too-heavy moisturizer. In the morning I don’t use any face wash, instead just opting for a splash of water before brushing my teeth. Again I use the Laneige emulsion but only right after I use this Shu Uemura Vitalizing Refining Lotion (basically a toner) for balancing my skin.

</ END INTENSELY DESCRIPTIVE BEAUTY POST hehe>
