And we’re back with another #WHATSGOOD post featuring some of the newest skincare and beauty pickups! These are a few things from the past couples months, picked up in Paris or Hong Kong. I’ve already failed in keeping up with the #WHATSGOOD timelines (this second post is already a month late) and here I am again making up an excuse for late posts (there is a LOT going on in the real life Lam household right now) and making empty promises (I swear I’ll be more on time next month). Nonetheless, here are a couple of things I’ve been into lately and I can’t recommend everything in this post enough. There’s a reason why I gush about them and swear that I use/wear everything almost on the daily! Let me know what you guys think ଘ꒰ ๑ ˃̶ ᴗ ᵒ̴̶̷๑꒱و ̑̑

As you can see from above, I have a LOT of fragrances and I love switching it up daily to suit whatever I’m in the mood for. Lately I’ve been reaching for this new Buly 1803 Eau Triple Kiso Yuzu spray which they call a fragrance water, basically a water-based perfume. The result is a much lighter fragrance that sits on your skin as opposed to drowning you out. The Yuzu scent is so so light and fresh for summer and the packaging itself is just so ornamental and regal.

[LEFT] Picked up this DIORSHOW Pump’n’Volume mascara at the Paris airport whilst waiting for our flight and I love it so much. Ever since I’ve switched over to these lighter metal frame Sunnies glasses, I’ve been going for a more “lighter” look: giving my iconic cat-eye heavy eyeliner a break and opting for an eye-opening mascara look instead. The Diorshow mascara is just perfect for this, not lengthening (which I don’t want anyways cos then my eyelashes keep brushing against my glasses) but instead super volumizing and thickening.

[RIGHT] I’ve been eyeing this Hourglass Illume Sheer Color Trio palette for so long because it just really looked like the perfect set of 3 shades for my skin. I use the darkest color to do some subtle contouring and bronzing around my cheek hollows and then the blush color to add a pop to the apples of my cheeks. The highlighter is sliiiightly too glittery for me but I do still use it cos it really does add a major glow. The formula is so unique that it starts off quite creamy when you first rub the product but then dries to a kind of powder finish and isn’t too thick or creamy. I just love this product so much.

This is the Neogen Dermalogy Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Pads in Lemon. Nanz turned me onto this product and I seriously cannot recommend this enough to everyone. I use it twice a week by slipping my fingers into the pads and rubbing my face all over with the rough side, then turning it over and soothing my skin with the softer side. Then I’ll let it sit on my face while I prepare Sumo’s bedtime routine (about 5 minutes) and then wash it off with warm water before going about my regular toning and moisturizing routine. Even just minutes after washing it off and drying my face, my skin is visibly and instantly so much softer and smooth. Like seriously no joke it feels like baby’s buttcheeks THAT’S how fast and effective these pads are.

Jason surprised me with these Nike Benassi slides as if I need any more slides in my life..but I love them so much. Combines my two loves of Plants and slides into one hehe 🌿

I’ve gushed about this Prada Vela Pouch extensively already in previous posts but I just love it so much. It’s the perfect size for daily necessities (think lipbalm, phone, wallet and keys) and very reasonably priced for a Prada little pouch!

Some recent looks: [LEFT] COS top, Zara pants, Baby Milo socks and ACRONYM x Nike Af1 sneakers
[RIGHT] NikeLab tshirt, Zara jeans, & Other Stories belt, Stone Island x NikeLab Sock Dart sneakers and Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis bag.

These pleated pants are new and I just picked them up one day on a post-dinner walk around from H&M. They’re super light and easy and perfect for just throwing on. Maybe a little TOO light because the fabric feels borderline cheap (which I’m sure it is) but they’re just too comfy to give up. I resurrected this old Louis Vuitton Speedy bag from the depths of my mom’s closet and to be completely honest it took my weeeeks to air out the stinky old cupboard smell.
H&M micro pleated pants, & Other Stories fitted tee, Nike socks, Dr Martens 1461 shoes and Louis Vuitton Speedy 30.
