New York! Seems like I just went to New York recently, I mean, I literally still have at least two blogposts that were meant to go up from my previous NY trip back in November..ooooops. Well these new ones will have to do. After a torturous travel over (seriously took 36 hours cos of major flight delays etc, ughhh), I finally arrived and instantly freshened up and headed out to just be around the city with Jason. The weather was gorgeous in NY, kinda windy and cold but super sunny at the same time and it was such a sigh of relief breathing the cold clean air unlike Shanghai’s manky fog-like smog they call “air”. We stayed at the amazing Ace Hotel in a hipster-y but artsy but urban but slightly lumberjack-y room with an amazing view.

So yes…this skirt/shorts/SKORTS. The now infamous Zara foldover skorts that if you’re a blogger, follow a blogger on instagram or even just read any fashion blog..you probably would have seen already…and probably purchased too but for good reason! They are the perfect easy throw on shorts, the type that instantly make your outfit look ten times cooler..and furthermore, they now come in black, which I don’t think I’ll get though. The shorts do run a little bit so try them on first if you can. I literally got off the plane and had to get ready in 20 mins to go to my sister’s ultrasound (ahh omg babiesss!!) so I just threw on a easy thermal on top and my current go-to jacket: Carin Wester Reva bomber.

New York, you’re too good to us and all I want to do is eat everything wahahaha. More New York posts coming up later!

Still love your Celine bag! Your trip sounds like it was awesome. I definitely want to go back to New York at some point – you’re so lucky that you studied there.
